I just missed your article above as I had installed XE earlier today on my laptop and have not been able to access the home page. Then after reading this article of yours, I realized I might have accessed the wrong link as I had utililized OracleXE.exe not the Univ.exe and Client.exe - does this mean I need to uninstall the OracleXE.exe and install the other two?

ReplyDeleteThanks for pinging me,You have to uninstall ur version of Oracle and install OracleXEUniv.exe(This is Oracle 10g Express Edition Server Setup)
